Want To Place A Custom Order?

We know making decisions can be overwhelming when you need help figuring out where to begin, so we are here to walk you through our custom ordering process!
There are so many different options in the custom printing world and everyone has their favorite way of executing ideas. At SLTees Apparel, our heat presses help us bring your visions to life by allowing us to transfer designs to your favorite apparel.


Typically we work with direct-to-film transfers, heat transfer vinyl, screen printed transfers, and sublimation transfers, and we can also create decals, which you can then apply to windows, walls, and more!


The size of the order, details of the design, size of the design, and material of the item(s) that the design will go on will help us determine which method of transferring the design is best for your order.

The custom order process begins when you take that first step of reaching out to us! Depending on what information you provide us when you reach out, we may have some questions before your order is officially placed. A few things we will need to know before starting on your order is:

Do you need us to create a design or do you have one ready for us to print? (Typically we can use a PDF, SVG, or PNG of a logo with little need to do extra work on your design)
What type of item(s) are you looking to have custom printed on? (Short Sleeve, Crewneck Sweatshirt, Hat, etc.)
Do you have a brand in mind already that you know you love? If not, what style and material would you prefer? (100% cotton, 50/50, Triblend, Polyester, etc.)
Do you already know what size(s) you need? Will you also need youth or women's sizes?
What color(s) are you wanting for the item(s) you need?
What color(s) are you wanting the design to be?
Do you need this order earlier than our 2-3 week turnaround?
How would you like to receive your order? (Store pickup, local delivery, or shipping)


Once we have all of the needed information, we can give you a quote before you agree to place your order!

The next step to getting your custom order placed is reaching out after the quote to let us know that you would like to go ahead and place your order! If you requested that we create artwork for you, or you were still debating on colors and requested mockups, then we will reach out within 3-5 business days for you to approve. If the quote you received from us was $1,000 or more, we kindly request that you put half of your payment down in advance. Once we have confirmation or receive your downpayment, we will start on your order as soon as possible!

Your part is done for now! Once your order is complete, we will contact you through your preferred contact method. Once contacted, you can let us know if you want us to provide local delivery within 15 miles of Rockford, or we can ship your order for an additional $10!
